In-home health worker steals $13,000 in jewelry from 88-year-old, Cocoa Beach PD says
An in-home health care worker is accused of stealing more than $13,000 worth of jewelry from an 88-year-old woman.Authorities say Masseline Joseph, 46, of Palm Bay, was arrested and accused of stealing the jewelry and then selling the items at pawn shops in Palm Bay.According to the Cocoa Beach Police Department, the thefts happened throughout April at the victim’s home in the Four Season’s condominiums on Banana River Boulevard.Detectives were able to find some of the stolen jewelry through six pawn shop transactions.Joseph faces charges of grand theft, false verification of ownership to a pawn broker and dealing in stolen property.
