6 men’s hair trends for unlocking endless good hair days

In 2023 the hair trends have really been making moves. And for all the big stuff, there are still plenty of styles that skew classic. Something for everybody in this place!

Whether you’re heading to a job interview or you’re waiting for a date, your hair can say a lot about who you are. You’re preppy. You’re traditional. You’re directional. Up to you, providing you’ve got the hair to play with in the first place.

That’s why it’s more important than ever, especially in these wild times, that you look your best 24/7. Which means a regular haircut. And it means asking for one of the best hair trends of 2023.

GQ guides you on what to ask for in the barbershop if you’re looking to try out the following hair trends: buzz cut, modern mullet, classic centre part, clean grow out, swept back or a standout dye job.

The good thing about hair is that (in most cases), it will grow back. If you want to give yourself a bit of a reset, going for a buzz cut is always a good option. Simple, clean, and extremely low maintenance, you never know if you’ll regret it until you actually try it. Just ask Shawn Mendes. Or Harry Styles, who recently went and shaved his head.

Even though it looks easy to DIY, we’d still recommend hitting up your barber and getting it done professionally. This way it won’t look patchy, and when it eventually does grow back (fingers crossed), your hair will look nice and even. Who knows though. You might just want to keep it buzzed forever.
