10 Best New Beauty Product Launches of January 2023

The New Year marks the time for a fresh start and at Teen Vogue, our reset begins with our beauty routines. Whether it’s skin care, makeup, or hair care, all beauty products expire at some point, (usually between three to 12 months), so we’ve let go of all the old items we no longer use to make space for new and improved picks.

January’s new launches include products crafted with tons of skin-nourishing ingredients, like avocado and post-biotics, which can be found in Glow Recipe’s newest moisturizing facial cleanser. We’ve also got a honey-infused hair wash that smells delicious and will work to boost shine and leave your hair feeling ultra-soft.

And if you’re constantly finding yourself on #showertok while scrolling through beauty hacks on TikTok, you’re definitely going to want to try out Native’s new candy shop body care collection, featuring a line of candy-scented body washes (we can’t get enough of the sweet cinnamon hearts fragrance!).

Some beauty brands, like our long-time fave, MAC cosmetics have also decided to go big for the new season and have released items they’ve never carried before. For the first time ever, you can now shop MAC skin care which is designed to nourish the skin while prepping it for makeup application.

From eyebrow thickening serums to body contouring creams, these are the hottest products that our editors are most excited about. Cheers to the New Year and to keeping your skin and hair feeling and looking great.

New Makeup Releases

ColourPop Cosmetics

Okay, the entire Colour Pop x Winx Club collection is sooo cute and you can use every item to transform into your favorite fairy character from the show. We love the pressed powder eyeshadow palette, which features 15 beautiful soft pastel shades. There are also six lip gloss hues to choose from, all inspired by Bloom, Stella, Flora, Aisha, Tecna, and Musa!

Charlotte Tilbury

Don’t let the cold temps leave your complexion looking dull this winter season. Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood glow glide face architect highlighter is truly a one-of-a-kind, offering the power of a liquid highlighter in pressed powder form. Its formula is infused with a unique light flex technology that was inspired by the lighting tricks used in old Hollywood movies. We like how easily the formula glides across the skin and it dries down to a soft-focus satin finish. No filter needed!

Tarte Cosmetics

If you’re already familiar with Tarte’s iconic shape tape concealer, you know this product is going to be worth it. The brand notes that it’s “an instant face life in a tube,” and we can see why. The creamy formula helps create definition all over the face with ease, thanks to the cushion tip and blendable texture. It’s also crafted with ingredients like shea butter, licorice root, and diamond powder to help blur imperfections.

New Skin Care Releases

MAC Cosmetics

ExperienceInteriors

For the first time, MAC cosmetics released a skin care line with three new products: a hydration serum, moisturizing cream, and cleansing oil. The Hyper Real Serumizer is currently our favorite pick. It works to strengthen the skin barrier leaving it feeling soft and looking radiant. It’s also formulated with Japanese Peony extract and niacinamide to help reduce dullness.
