With the return of IRL shows and events, the Spring/Summer 2023 edition of Fashion Week has been filled with buzzy moments from Ye’s opening at Balenciaga to a dress being sprayed onto Bella Hadid’s body. Throughout the month, we’ve noticed a range of up-and-coming fashion trends, which we’re highlighting in the latest installment of our Trend Spotlight series.
This season, Kylie Jenner proved that underwear can be styled as daywear, as she attended Loewe’s SS23 presentation wearing logo briefs and a tank top with sheer black tights and a gray coat. The look, previously approved by Doja Cat, was also seen on Bella Hadid, who walked the streets of New York City in boxer briefs as she snacked on a slice of pizza. Elsehwere, Julia Fox made an appearance in Milan with an elevated version of the trend, wearing a chain top and bottom set with a worn leather coat.
Aside from celebrities, we’ve also noticed the trend emerging on runways, including presentations from AMBUSH, Givenchy and Ottolinger.
